A Global Green Electrician™ (GGE) is a qualified licenced electrician who has successfully completed the 5 Day GGE Training and Accreditation Course. Accreditation provides the vital underpinning knowledge and skills, not available in any one single training course. This enables a GGE to deliver a complete range of renewable and energy efficiency services to industry, commercial and domestic customers. The course curriculum utilises nationally recognised Renewable Energy Units of Competence that are a significant component of the program. After completing the GGE course, further develop your knowledge and skills by completing the UEE42009 Certificate IV in Electrical - Photovoltaic Systems at Holmesglen. This is a nationally recognised formal qualification in renewable energy leading to participates being able to apply to Clean Energy Council for provisional accreditation in Design and Install Grid Connect PV System. Through a combination of classroom delivery, practical activities and online assessment tasks, you will gain the qualification and knowledge to grow your business. The course ends with a two day residential weekend where students put into practice their renewable energy skills. Classes are held at our specially built Renewable Energy Centre at Moorabbin. The residential is at Holmesglen's Rural Learning Centre at Snobs Creek. The course has been developed to cater for the tradesperson who has not been in the classroom for many years. The course covers such topics as Design, Install, Configure and Commission Grid Connect PV systems, metering and fault finding renewable energy systems. This qualification will lead onto further study in the Diploma of Renewable Energy. |
